Leadership & Administration
As the Principal of Park Ridge Primary School, I wake up every morning wanting to come to school. Park Ridge is vibrant, innovative and fun. I am very passionate about providing the conditions for our students to develop a true lifelong love of learning and to achieve their full potential intellectually, socially and emotionally. I believe that wellbeing is an important part of life and learning and I strive to ensure all of our students enjoy a positive school experience. As an educational leader, I am passionate about building teacher capacity to learn, teach and lead and improving student learning outcomes for all students.
I am very fortunate to be the Assistant Principal at Park Ridge Primary School. I have had many different roles in my career here, from Foundation to Year 6 and utilise all of these skills in my role. I believe in education we need to focus on the whole child, both academic and social, forming strong relationships with students, families and the community and showing students we care about them as people.
Park Ridge is a fantastic school and I feel very privileged to be working alongside such a dedicated group of teachers and staff. I have loved the opportunity to use my vast knowledge of Literacy teaching to assist our students develop their skills and knowledge, but to also feel proud of their accomplishments. Every student deserves a great education and they will receive that at Park Ridge Primary School.
Learning Specialist – Tutor/Intervention
Park Ridge Primary School is a fabulous school because of the enthusiastic and polite students, supportive parents and the caring and friendly staff. There are so many opportunities for students to follow their interests, whether it is coding, gardening, music or the many sporting activities. Students love learning and the incursions, excursions, special days, sleepovers and camps offered at our school.
I love my work and have continuous contact with students, staff and parents. I work closely with the leadership team and staff to ensure the best outcomes for students. My door is always open if you have any financial concerns.
Working at Park Ridge in the office is such a rewarding experience, what I love most about PRPS is how friendly the students and their families are. I think we have a great school that promotes high quality teaching and learning. Outside of school time I enjoy camping with my family and catching up with friends.
I really enjoy my position at Park Ridge Primary School. Every day is different, from looking after students in First Aid to helping Parents and Carers through the enrolment process. We strive to help our families feel welcome and supported as part of the Park Ridge Community.
Foundation Teacher & Learning Leader
Teaching is something I am very passionate about and I feel extremely lucky to work alongside the wonderful staff, students and parents of Park Ridge Primary School. My classroom promotes a positive and supportive environment where children are encouraged to take risks and develop a life long love of learning.
Working at Park Ridge is being a part of a close-knit community of students, parents and staff. I enjoy the strong relationships we develop with students, which fosters this safe and supportive community. Outside of school, I enjoy playing sport and running the thousand steps on Sunday mornings.
I love being a teacher and particularly enjoy seeing the growth in students as the year progresses. I am quite creative and enjoy sharing my passion with students. When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family at the beach.

I am a Year 1 teacher at Park Ridge Primary School and I love working with the friendly staff and wonderful children. I strive to create a classroom where my students are kind, caring and excited about learning. I believe it is important to focus on developing each student academically, socially and emotionally.

Park Ridge is a fantastic place to be because of the wonderful community and culture, which hasn’t changed since I attended the school as a child. It is a privilege to work alongside wonderful teachers and parents, to ensure the wellbeing and growth of all our students. I believe in creating a fun and supportive environment where all my students feel safe and excited to learn. My classroom allows students to be creative, take risks in their learning, and work collaboratively with their peers to achieve their goals.

Within my classroom I encourage all students to be resilient learners and to take risks in their learning. I create a classroom environment that allows students to learn from each other and seek support when they need it.

I have been working at Park Ridge for 20 years now and have been fortunate to teach along side some amazing teachers. I love teaching and learning and helping children to do their best. The students at Park Ridge are enthusiastic, passionate and always ready to learn. Outside of school I love to run, shop and support my beloved Bombers.

I have been a member of the teaching staff at Park Ridge for many years and have taught in many different areas. It is wonderful to watch the students learn and thrive across all learning areas, whether it be in reading, writing, maths or in Art. Teaching at Park Ridge Primary School is so much fun. I have worked in many roles at this school and it is always exciting to watch students blossom in the many different areas that our school not only encourages, but nurtures. The staff at our school are friendly and the kids are amazing!

As Maths Learning Specialist at Park Ridge, I am passionate about seeing students engage with real-world maths tasks and helping them develop their knowledge and confidence in this area. The learning environment at Park Ridge sees students achieve their personal best and become lifelong learners. Our whole school approach to wellbeing and behaviour develops a strong community and builds relationships across the school. Outside of school, I enjoy exercising, watching any form of sport and spending time with my family.

I have been teaching at Park Ridge Primary School since 2017, in my role as a classroom teacher I have had the opportunity to work alongside many members of our school community and feel privileged to be a member of a such a supportive, respectful and exuberant environment. In my classroom I promote a culture of curiosity; empowering my students to be academic risk takers and most importantly, to have fun and love learning.

I have been working at Park Ridge Primary School for many years and thoroughly enjoy the warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere that is created by the teachers, students and parents. Outside of school I enjoy travelling, keep fit and go to the beach.

I am proud to say that I have become a teacher at the primary school that I attended as a student. Its inclusive environment and community focus is what makes this school so great and one that all children have the opportunity to learn in. The friendly staff, supportive parents and enthusiastic students are a credit to the culture that has been developed at Park Ridge. Away from school I enjoy getting out on the golf course.

Park Ridge has been home to me for many years now and I thoroughly enjoy working with such dedicated staff and students who are constantly striving to achieve their best. Our supportive environment and focus on respect, integrity, positivity and resilience really sets the standard for other schools to emulate. Away from Park Ridge I enjoy being in the great outdoors, travelling, following the Bombers in the AFL and spending time with my family and friends.

Park Ridge was a wonderful environment 14 years ago when I was a student and it remains and always will remain a wonderful environment to be a part of. I am incredibly proud to work at a school where the students, staff and parents are all valued. As a teacher, nothing beats seeing that ‘lightbulb’ moment in students, where they have discovered new ideas and are constantly growing, learning, adapting and questioning.
Physical Education Teacher
Being the PE at Park Ridge is extremely fulfilling. As a former student of the school, what draws me in to Park Ridge is the sense of community, this place just feels like home. The thing I love about this school is that every single student’s successes are celebrated. I am proud to be able to educate students about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and supporting them in developing a love of sport.

I love working at Park Ridge because the staff and parents support each other to create a great learning environment for every student. In PE we work hard to encourage teamwork and resilience as well as encouraging students to improve on their own health, strength, stamina and flexibility while having fun! I am enjoying teaching PE and playing games with the students!
I love teaching Indonesian. It’s a real buzz watching and listening to the kids give it a go and seeing the looks on their faces when they realise they can do it. I have a particular passion for teaching the diverse culture of Indonesia. This leads to a greater understanding from the students of diversity and inclusiveness within our own society.
Visual Arts Teacher
I love teaching at Park Ridge and feel very fortunate to be part of such a welcoming and friendly school with enthusiastic students, supportive parents and passionate staff. I have been teaching in primary education for many years both in the UK and here in Australia. I am now embarking on a career change which I am very excited about, moving away from classroom teaching to the wonderful Art room where very cool things happen every day! I am now very honoured to be the Visual Arts teacher at Park Ridge and am thrilled to be sharing my love of art with my students and to be helping them grow as artists and creative thinkers.

Performing Arts Teacher
After sixteen years as the Music & Performing Arts teacher and the last four years as a Year Five classroom teacher at Knox Gardens, I am extremely excited to be back in a full-time Music teaching position here at Park Ridge. The staff and students are all very welcoming and it’s fantastic to have such a well-resourced Music & Performing Arts room. Having been in various original and cover bands over the years, I feel fortunate to be able to share my passion and knowledge of music with the students of Park Ridge Primary School.

I love working with the students and staff at Park Ridge Primary School. I find it very rewarding and satisfying watching students achieve victories in their learning. I especially love watching how proud and excited students become when they reach a goal.
I am an Integration Aide at Park Ridge Primary School. I absolutely love working with the children, watching them learn and grow is such a privilege. I couldn’t have wished for a more rewarding job and still believe this after working in this role for many years.
My role, over many years at Park Ridge Primary School is to be a key support in the classroom. I enjoy working with the teachers to help students succeed in the classroom environment. I help children with diverse learning challenges and special needs to thrive in the classroom. I am fortunate to see them grow and achieve individual milestones throughout the year.
My role at Park Ridge Primary School is to support students with their individual learning needs and assist them to reach their full potential. It is such a rewarding job and I love watching their excitement as they achieve, learn and grow as individuals.
