Parent Involvement

Parent involvement and participation is warmly invited and actively encouraged. You can participate in a variety of ways such as school council, parents and citizens association (fundraising), excursions. camps, volunteering in the classrooms and just by staying up to date with school news and happenings. If you wish to volunteer, a current Working with Children Check is required. To find out more, just speak to your classroom teacher or our friendly administration team.

Parents & Citizens Association

The PCA is a group of interested people who plan and implement many of our social and fundraising activities. The PCA meets monthly on a Thursday evening at 7:30pm in the staffroom. New members are warmly welcomed.

School Council

The School Council, which is the policy-making and governing body of the school. Interested parents may attend School Council meetings as observers. Council does, however, request that parents notify the Principal, David Mann, of their wish to attend a meeting at least three days prior to the meeting. It should be noted that under Standing Orders, visitors attend council meetings strictly as observers and do not participate in the actual operation of the meeting. Parents are encouraged to join as School Council Sub Committee. School Council Sub Committees: PCA, Education,  Buildings and Grounds, Finance and Uniform. Elections for Council occur each year and appointments are for a two year period.
